Born 1949 in Hull, now living in Easington a small village near Spurn Head East Yorkshire.

I am married to Susan and have two daughters and two grandchildren.
A time served Electrician, spending most of my working life in the contracting industry.

I started painting late in my life with no formal training in art (unless you call technical drawing art training).

So self taught which I think is good in a way, because it gives me the freedom to try different ways to lay down paint.

My preference being Acrylic medium, as I like the fluidity and vibrancy of this paint.
I paint land and seascapes, but my favourites are woods and unusual tree formations.

Living in East Yorkshire gives me access to the Yorkshire Wolds and the ever changing North Yorkshire Moors, which inspire and gives me the passion to commit my visions to canvas.
